MSgt Robert "Bob" Woods, 48, of Belmont, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2024 at home.
Bob was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio a son of the late William "Bill" J. & Rita Marie (Sabinski) Woods. He was a 1994 graduate of St. Clairsville High School.
Bob was proud to serve in the United States Air Force from March 1, 1995 until April 30, 2015. Bob retired from the Air Force as a MSgt after serving 20 years. He was deployed four times. In 2000, to Incirlik AB, Turkey for Operation Northern Watch. In 2003, he was deployed again to Turkey for Operation Northern Watch/Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2005, he was deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, for Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2010, to Camp Victory Baghdad for Operation New Dawn.
