Betty Lee Love (Schulte), aged 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Born on January 14, 1944, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Schulte and Josephine (Mercurio) Schulte.
Betty was a beacon of knowledge and enthusiasm throughout her life. She began her career as a beloved Spanish teacher at Kiski Area School District, where she was revered for her passion and commitment to her students. She led numerous student trips to Spain and played a vital role in hosting foreign exchange students. After retiring, Betty achieved Master Gardener Certification from Ohio State University. Her love for teaching seamlessly transitioned into her work with the inmates at Belmont Correctional Institution, where she used her skills to significantly better their lives and the community.
