Together Again
Richard Lee "Dick" Conaway, 74 of Bridgeport passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 4, 1949, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Arthur R. and Helen (Stanchina) Conaway.
Dick was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp, Steubenville Plant, a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Korean War Conflict, a lifetime member of the VFW, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, he enjoyed fishing and was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Burch) Conaway in 2017, a sister, Helen Marie Holdaway, and brother, Ed Conaway, stepdaughter Kammy Hall, and fur baby, Kayla.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Conaway, Michelle Cieslewski, stepchildren, Nick Pappas, Lisa Hedrick and Terri Mcdermott, grandchildren, Jalynn Conaway, Derek Schybal, Vickie Markle, Cory Runner, and brothe
